Prince William and Kate Middleton are celebrating the 15-year anniversary of their super extravagant royal wedding! TBD on how the couple are spending their day behind-the-scenes, but they did hop on Instagram to surprise ~royal watchers~ with a candid family portrait. In the photo, which is an aerial shot, Kate and William lounge in the grass with their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. It’s a professional photo but everyone seems very chill and the vibes are definitely “we’re just normal people who don’t live in a castle, we swear,” down to the bare feet and casual clothes.
William and Kate got married back on April 29, 2011, and it was a very over-the-top and public day. Though William and Kate did have a private moment at the altar, which lip readers wasted no time decoding.
William seemingly glanced at Kate and said, “You look lovely,” and then added, “You look beautiful” when she smiled back at him. They were also seen in their carriage after the ceremony, where William told his new wife, “You look happy,” and she said back, “Yes!” before asking, “Are you happy?”
